Terms and abuse
By using xlm.sh, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use xlm.sh.
What xlm.sh is
xlm.sh is a free gateway. It looks up a Soroban Domain on the Stellar network, finds the IPFS content the domain's owner points to, and shows it at <name>.xlm.sh.
- xlm.sh does not create, review or endorse the sites it serves. Each site is published, and is the responsibility of, the owner of its domain and Stellar account.
- To make sites load quickly, xlm.sh keeps copies of visited sites on its IPFS nodes. This is a cache, not a review: copies are removed when a site is blocked or no longer visited.
- A
*.xlm.shaddress says nothing about who runs a site or whether it can be trusted. - xlm.sh is an independent service, not operated by the Stellar Development Foundation. Stellar, Soroban Domains and IPFS are independent projects, named here only to describe what xlm.sh works with.
Acceptable use
Do not use xlm.sh to publish or reach content that:
- is illegal where you, the site's visitors or xlm.sh's operators are;
- is phishing, impersonates someone else, or tries to obtain secret keys, seed phrases, passwords or funds by deception (including wallet drainers and scams);
- spreads malware or attacks visitors' devices;
- infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights;
- sexually exploits minors, or threatens, harasses or incites violence against people;
- overloads or attacks xlm.sh or others, for example through excessive automated traffic.
Blocking
xlm.sh may block any site or content (by name or by CID), at any time, with or without notice, at its sole discretion: for example after a report, a legal request, or to protect visitors. A blocked site shows error 451.
Blocking only stops xlm.sh from serving the site. The content stays on IPFS and the domain on Stellar; xlm.sh cannot remove either.
Reporting abuse
Write to [email protected] with:
- the full address, such as
https://example.xlm.sh/login; - what is wrong, with evidence such as screenshots or links;
- how to reach you.
For phishing or other urgent harm, put "phishing" or "urgent" in the subject. Reports are reviewed as quickly as possible.
Copyright and trademark complaints should also identify the work or mark concerned, show that you own it or may act for its owner, and state that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized.
If your site was blocked and you believe it was a mistake, write to the same address with the site name.
Stay safe
- xlm.sh will never ask for your secret key or seed phrase. No legitimate site needs them.
- Sites on xlm.sh are run by their owners, not by xlm.sh. Check who you are dealing with before connecting a wallet or signing a transaction.
No warranty
xlm.sh is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. xlm.sh may change, suspend or stop the service, or any part of it, at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of xlm.sh are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of xlm.sh or of any site reached through it, including loss of funds, data or profits, and including transactions you sign on such sites.
